- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Having been Dr. Boozer's patient for nearly 30 years, I feel as though I've gotten to know him quite well. He's an outstanding doctor and a caring and compassionate person. I know him to be a "doctor's doctor", a physician to whom other doctors trust the care of their families and themselves. I've watched McHenry Medical group evolve through several incarnations to become First Choice Physicians. While I dislike the inevitable changes that corporate ownership brings to healthcare, I will say that Dr. B manages to infuse his appointments with a genuine spirit of interest and caring for the individual (and he does make you feel like a person and not a case file) and a sense of security knowing you're in extremely competent hands. His nurse, Gabby, is wonderful and many long-time support people (thanks, Kathleen!) make navigating the current health care environment just a bit easier and friendlier.
